I came across this today by accident – and have been replaying it for the last half hour !

It’s a song from the brilliant musical film Little Shop of Horrors called Skid Row:

For a comic contrast, if you want a job that causes pain, trying this song (starring Steve Martin) as a recommendation !

Overheard on the bus … (Good grief !)

Older teenage / early twenties bloke was explaining to his mates why he’s studying film and media at college. Wants to make stuff that people notice, in his own style.

He’d seen an Oxfam advert, unlike the typical African-kids-starving ones. This was one was more unusual and starred Will Young.

He said, “It’s like, if you saw an Oxfam advert with Will Young in it, even though he’s gay, you’d watch it wouldn’t you ?”

From the sublime to the ridiculous !

Been hearing this song all week on the radio and loved it ! It’s the new single from Leon Jackson (last year’s X-Factor winner, although I didn’t know that!) Don’t Call This Love.

For contrast, after all the Sarah Plain stuff, I thought you’d like the chance to be Barack-rolled !

Had to share these with you.

Firstly, a treat for those of us who grew up in the 80s or remember Aha. Here’s the song “Take On Me”, but with new lyrics that describe what’s happening in the video ! Absolutely superb !

I’ve also just come across this short video, where John Cleese gives his opinion on Sarah Palin. The illustration he uses to describe her is perfect !

I can’t be the only one who is amazed by how badly Sarah Palin comes across. This Saturday Night Live spoof is scarily close to her real recent interviews.

However, she is also leading the fight to have Alaskan polar bears taken off the endangered list, as this would hinder oil and gas developments. Hence, this game.

Tom Milsom’s new track

If, like me,  you’re a fan of the amazing Tom Milsom, you love the new track he has available from his Myspace page. It’s called Paradoxical Brain Cancer (the lyrics explain why !) and is incredibly catchy. I’ve been playing it repeatedly all evening since I heard it.

It’s weird: When you’ve only really met and got to know people with their first name and username, everyone’s surnames seem strange and don’t quite fit their first name ! 

Made me smile

Saw this on my way home from work and just had to take a picture !
